IMA Locksmith, Collapsed Snib

I attended a customer's home in SO45, Dibden Purlieu, to find their Yale night latch had failed due to a collapsed locking snib. This is very rare, but it does require a new night latch to be installed.

The upshot: I recommended the customer retain the original keys and rim cylinder to save any issues with existing key holders. Fifteen minutes later the client was safe and secure with a brand new chrome night latch to suit the other door furniture.
