Burglary to Outhouse

This is the end result of contractors' locks being installed incorrectly. The unfortunate aftermath of intruders snapping a standard lock in the New Forest area and removing a lot of valuable items.

A standard euro cylinder, fitted proud of the handle, is an open invitation. Snapping one takes seconds and needs no skill at all.

I attended and installed an anti-snap euro cylinder correctly, flush with the escutcheon, preventing any opportunity to attack the lock itself. If your locks were fitted by a builder rather than a locksmith, it is worth two minutes at the front door to check what is actually protecting your home.
