What Is an Anti Snap Lock?

I get asked this question all the time. The simple answer: it is an additional security measure that enables the front section of the euro cylinder to break free when attacked, leaving the lock body still intact within the door and the door still locked.

There are various options for anti-snap locks for uPVC doors, ranging from good to great. And then there is the Ultion WXM cylinder, which is by far one of the best security measures you can add to the entry doors of a residential or commercial building.

Every cylinder I change is replaced with an anti-snap version as standard. If your current lock sticks out past the handle or carries no rating, it is worth a call.
